Foreclosures in Alberta are heard in the Court of King's Bench. A lender cannot sell your home without going through the court, and for Chestermere that means Calgary Courts Centre, 601 5 St SW.
Title work runs separately, through Land Titles South. Land Titles has been slow since the counters closed to walk-ins in September 2025, with registrations reported taking around a hundred days, so build that into any plan with a deadline in it.
A little about Chestermere
A lakeside city on Alberta's eastern Calgary boundary, built around what began as an irrigation reservoir. It was a summer village until 1977 and only became a city in 2015. The population is about 22,163.

What actually happens
Less than people fear. Much of a foreclosure is documents rather than hearings, and an undefended claim moves through its stages without anyone standing up in a courtroom. That is also the risk — the process advances whether or not you engage, so engaging is how you keep a say in it.
